Nalanda Aditya Birla Education Trust educates students with Learning Difficulties, Attention Deficit Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders, Slow Learners and School Dropouts by providing an encouraging and supportive environment that accepts the individual, values learning diversity and provides academic, personal and social growth.
Nalanda Aditya Birla Education Trust is a coeducational institute since 2023 from 5th grade to 12th grade that prepares students to appear for their board exams to join mainstream colleges.

Mrs. Neerja Birla
Mrs. Neerja Birla is an educationist dedicated to empowering individuals and creating a positive societal impact, particularly in the fields of education. As the Founder & Chairperson of the Aditya Birla Education Trust, she has played a pivotal role in advancing inclusive education. Her vision for Nalanda is to provide a holistic and nurturing environment for children with special learning needs, focusing on creating academic, personal, and social growth.
She is deeply committed to making education more meaningful and enjoyable for every child, emphasizing the importance of diverse learning styles and the integration of emotional and socio-cognitive development.
Message from the Principal of Nalanda - Aditya Birla Education Trust

Since June 2023, I have had the privilege and pleasure of helping to lead the Nalanda Aditya Birla Education Trust and it has been a rewarding experience! I was fortunate to be in charge of building upon the solid foundation put in place by my predecessors. Nalanda Aditya Birla Education Trust has its unique approach and innovative teaching practices thus making it the standard by which similar institutions are measured.
The greatness of any institution is measured by the success of its alumni. Students of Nalanda Aditya Birla Education Trust join a broad range of competitive colleges and have entered the world with confidence and emerged as successful young adults.
History
The Nalanda Foundation Chapter- Educational Facilitation Program started with two students in 1998 and has supported over a 1000 Students to date. The Program enables students who are unable to cope with conventional teaching methodologies in schools, to continue with their studies and ultimately return to mainstream education.
24 batches have successfully cleared the Board Examination of NIOS and are currently studying in leading colleges in Mumbai and overseas. Along with the 25th NIOS batch, the 12th batch of students will appear for SSC examinations with provisions for LD students, in March ’23.
